Self-confidence is a superpower that greatly facilitates our life. No wonder that everyone wants to develop it.
Low self-esteem consists of many factors and leads to constant doubts, devaluation of oneself and guilt. â€‹
Here are a few principles that will help you increase your self-esteem and become more confident:

Allow yourself weaknesses and mistakes
Constant self-criticism is a characteristic of insecure people. You can torment yourself with thoughts  for a long time, but this will not bring you anywhere. Learn to forgive yourself for minor mistakes and setbacks.

Make friends with your inner critic
The nasty voice in your head that makes you doubt yourself is your inner critic. You can even give it a name and make friends with it.
When your inner critic starts doubting your abilities and strengths, calm him down with love and gratitude and say that everything is under control and you know what to do.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable
Allow yourself to make mistakes and sometimes laugh at yourself. No need to hide behind steel armor in order to look confident. It’s normal to show feelings and ask for help.

Be an inspiration to others
Compliment other people and support them, so you show yourself as one who instills confidence. Thus, you will also feel more confident yourself.
Accept your values
Stop thinking about how you look in the eyes of other people. Understand that you and your actions are valuable as they are. Remind yourself every day: "I am the one who is, and it is wonderful."

Stop comparing yourself with others and start rejoicing
You should not be guided by the achievements of other people, it is worth remembering that life is a solitary race, and not a marathon in a crowd. Only your result is important and the stage that you personally live on. 

Risk
You will become more confident if you start doing what you did not do before. Get out of your comfort zone and change your usual routes, this can lead to both adventure and unexpected success.

Just be, do not pretend
You can hide behind fashion brands and labels, but not look confident and hide your defenselessness and fears under bright and fashionable clothes. It is OK to express yourself with your style and clothes, but do not pretend to be who you are not.

Be surrounded by confident people
Our environment has a huge impact on us - unhealthy and toxic relationships lead to low self-esteem. Surround yourself with people who are always ready to support you and be around you. Strong and confident people reach for the same environment.
Talk about your successes
We are used to thinking that talking about our achievements is selfish. But by not talking about your successes or by hiding them, you are depreciating the work you have done. If the right people surround you, you will always be understood and supported.

Self-confidence attracts people and inspires confidence both in you and in others. It is a tremendous power and responsibility that can support and inspire everyone. And, of course, self-confidence is a huge potential for a successful and fulfilling life.
