Perfection does not exist. Aspiring to be perfect is a battle against the windmills, lost at the very start and ending with the same result: every time you try it, you lose a piece of you.

Freedom. The dictionary says that it is "the condition or right of a being to be able or allowed to do, say, think, etc. whatever they want to, without being controlled or limited".
You've been holding onto them too tightly ... for far too long.
Holding onto shoes that no longer fit you and clothes that are out of fashion. Many people hold onto things that had become useless and that had long lost their shine.
You are no longer the person you were before. And the mistakes made by that person are not your destiny - you don't have to repeat them again.
This often happens in life: a person acted badly, meanly and hurt the one who loved them and trusted them. The other went through hellish circles of resentment, acceptance and humility. They had to "reassemble" themselves and learn to live in a new way.
Just be patient. Even if you don’t think so today, in the end everything will turn in your favor.
Listening to a stream of insults is like being hit on the head. And this is not an exaggeration - our brain, as shown by computed tomography, does not differentiate between physical violence and verbal aggression.
How many times has it happened to you to say “OK. I'll do this tomorrow .” And when the next day came, did you really do it?
