Read the article, practice what it says for two weeks and watch how your life changes.
When it seems to you that people refuse you, e.g. refuse to give you praise, appreciation, help, loving care, and so on - give them exactly that what you need. Then just act as if you already have it, and it will come to you. And soon after you begin to give, you will begin to receive.
You cannot receive that which you do not give. The outgoing stream determines the incoming. Thinking that the world is denying you something, know that in reality you already have it, but until you yourself let it flow out, you won’t even be able to find out what you have. This is abundance. The law that the outgoing stream determines the incoming is expressed by Jesus in his strongest figurative phrase: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Luke 6:38)
The source of abundance is not outside of you. It is part of who you are. However, begin with gratitude and recognition of the abundance that exists on the outside. See the fullness of life in everything that surrounds you. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, admire the flowers exhibited in the window of a flower shop, take a bite of a juicy fruit or get wet with rain, saturated with the wealth of water falling from the sky. The fullness of life is at every corner. Appreciation of this abundance surrounding you awakens that abundance that slumbers within you. Let it out.
When you smile at a stranger, there is a small release of energy. You give. Ask yourself more often: “What can I give here; how can I serve this person, this situation? ” You don’t need to own anything to feel abundant, although if you constantly feel abundant, things will almost certainly come to you. Abundance comes only to those who already have it. It seems almost unfair, but it is. Both abundance and lack of it are internal states that manifest in your reality. Jesus put it this way: "Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."
