When you meet a brave person, you should know that there was a lot of internal struggle behind their bravery. Nothing of it came by itself. It had to be earned.
All the great people the world admires today have become so great thanks to the great pain they have gone through, the blisters on their feet, the wrinkles and gray hairs, and the accumulated experience. They have "carved themselves" that way, their beliefs, their habits, their thinking and patterns of action.
When you meet someone who is strong, know that there was a lot of inner suffering behind it. How much internal turmoil, invisible opposition and silent sorrow there was, how much injustice that the person had to endure. But all this made them strong, made them what they are today because they learned life lessons in a much harder way than usual.
When you meet the person you admire, know that there was nothing mediocre about them, no procrastination and endless deliberation, there was no walking the line of less resistance and self-deception. It is a person who knew how to clearly say "yes" and "no" to people, things and circumstances. That's why they were ready to make decisions after which nothing was the same anymore.
So don't ask yourself how heroes and fighters are created. Fighters are created through life struggles, when they really care about something that is important in their lives, when they see that there is no going back and no point in nurturing the same way of life in the future. They have a firm belief that they are capable of accomplishing those things that appeared to them in a dream and that they do not need to ask for anyone’s permission or confirmation to do so. Dare and do the same, no matter the price and what others will say. Your life is only yours. Do and take what you deserve.
