My mind tells me - in order for me to feel free and satisfied, something must happen - or I must change, become better, higher, cleaner, more successful.
In other words, my mind says that I need time - that I have to find something, figure something out, achieve something, become someone, or understand something before I can become whole, free. It turns out that I am convinced that time is a means to achieve salvation, while in fact it is the greatest obstacle to salvation. I am accustomed to thinking that I can’t be full, because I'm not good enough.
The only truth is that “here and now” is the only point that can help us get into the desired state of usefulness. We get there only by realizing that we are already there. I find God at the moment when I understand that it is absurd to “seek” God - God is omnipresent, which means He is everywhere - and first of all in me. Author: Boris Grebenshchikov
