What is self love? Here is the most accurate definition I have come across. I draw attention to understanding, accepting and developing, and not to the mere comforting and satisfying of my feelings. Because stagnation leads to degradation. After all, the word stagnation implies 2 meanings - Strangulation of Will. So if you really love yourself, stop doing these things, or start doing others.
1. Start solving your problems
Write all your problems on a piece of paper and put down how much time you have already dragged them behind. Now ask yourself: Why are you doing it to yourself? Why do you prefer to hide your head in the sand and drag those problem along instead of solving them? Think and answer yourself.
2. Stop feeling sorry for yourself
If you understand that this will help you become a better person - do it. A cold shower is unpleasant. A morning run drives you into a zone of discomfort. But only in this way will you grow and develop.
3. Put your happiness first
You cannot love others unless you love yourself. Your loved ones will get much more from you if you are strong and calm. But if you sacrifice yourself for the sake of others, you are not giving your true and full potential.
4. Start noticing your victories
To get started, write down everything that you have already achieved. Create a hall of fame for personal achievements. And then every day at the end of the day, write down your small daily victories in the achievement diary. And in a year or so you will become a great Reader, good Writer and great Winner.
5. Be yourself, do not pretend
Ask yourself this questions in the morning, afternoon and evening: are you really the person you want to be? And give clear, informed answers. Life on an autopilot will lead you to the realization that you lived it in vain. Be yourself as often as possible and change your actions if the answers to these questions do not satisfy you.
6. Stop controlling what's beyond your control
There is a lot of information around you. But 99% of it has nothing to do with your life. Because you cannot influence it. Think about what you can influence and start influencing it. Forget about the rest.
7. Stop focusing only on the black and negative sides
In nature, everything appears in duality. Even when you have a problem, it always has something "white", or positive in it. There is at least the opportunity to overcome these difficulties and become stronger. So always look for the pros - think about them, develop them. And they will pull you up.
8. Forget about your flaws
Understand that the lack is the natural inclinations. So, no matter how much you develop, you will still lose to those who have these inclinations. Even if they train a little. Start developing what is strong.
9. Stop doing what you don't like
Or find options that you like. If you do not like your work - change it. You do not like to run - buy videos, start swimming or rock climbing. Remember, if you do what you do not like, then at that moment you simply hate yourself.
10. Do not do what does not help you grow
Write down everything you do every day and cross out what does not help you become better. Then add to this list something that can help develop you. And start doing it.
