Two Mature People In Love Should Help Each Other Become Truly Free

The main issue about love is maturity. If you want a mature partner, then immature one will not attract you at all. This is exactly what happens.​​

If you are twenty-five years old, you do not fall in love with a two-month-old baby. Similarly, if you are a mature person psychologically and spiritually, you will not fall in love with a child. It cannot happen. It cannot be, you see that it is pointless.

​A mature person has enough integrity to stand on their own. And when a mature person gives love, he gives it without any secrets attached to it - he or she simply gives.

When a mature person gives love, they feel gratitude for accepting it, not vice versa. They do not expect that you will be grateful for this - no, not at all, a mature partner does not even need your gratitude. He will thank you for accepting his love.
And when two mature people love each other, one of the greatest paradoxes of life occurs, one of the most beautiful phenomena: they are together, but at the same time they are totally independent.  

They are "so together" that they are one in unity, but their unity does not destroy their individuality - in fact, it increases it, they become more individual.
Two mature people in love help each other become more independent, more authentic. There is no politics, no diplomacy, no attempt to control each another. How can you try to control the person you love? Just think about it - control is a kind of hatred, anger, hostility. How can you even think about controlling the person you love?

You would like to see this person completely free, happy, and independent; you would like to give them more personality. That is why it is called a great paradox: they are "so together" that they almost merged into one, but nevertheless remain authentic individuals in this unity.
Their personalities do not mix - they are amplified. The other is enriched with individual freedom.
