Mental suffering is painful. The same goes for injuries and wounds. Therefore, a person sometimes needs a drink or two so that it doesnât hurt so much ... The pain will eventually pass, but the memory will remain. Someone will become stronger, someone will remain disabled forever. Just like after any injury.
All this is just pain. And nothing else. It remains for you to endure it, gritting your teeth. Many times the advice to accept it, understand it, and let go of it does not always bring relief. A man will politely nod, trying to deal with the pain. Or scream annoyed; it is all from pain.
Mental suffering is pain.
All human beings have the brain. It is a center of pain, the House of Suffering, like on the island of Dr. Moreau. There is a cluster of neurons responsible for pain.
Treason and betrayal - it hit you hard on the head. Contusion. And one can feel bewildered, stunned, disoriented, as if drunk. It hurts! And one does not think anything at first.
Pain is caused by various life experiences: because of love, or when one of the partners refuses to continue the relationship, or if a person is kicked out of work, deprived of something important - it's like a blow to the solar plexus. Itâs hard to breathe, sometimes even impossible. And one walks, bent over, bowing his head; it hurts!
Offended, humiliated - it's feels like a burn. Like acid splashed all over your stomach, that's what pain does to us. But, it will pass. At first it hurts a lot, so a person canât immediately gather his thoughts and answer. He or she has a pain shock.
And if the pain is due to a big loss, if, for example, a loved one died or left us forever, itâs like our hand was torn off. Such a pain. The strongest and longest. And there is nothing you can do to console yourself; words can only aggravate suffering. And hugging is not always possible - sometimes it is too painful to cuddle with someone; how to cuddle with a severed arm?
This is what mental suffering is. It is a pain. It cannot be seen, but it hurts no less than physical injuries and wounds.
âThen the pain will pass. And the memory will remain. Someone will become stronger, someone will remain disabled forever. Just like after any injury.
And the only salvation when it hurts is to be with those who understand that it is very painful; with someone who does not advise taking everything easier and forgiving everyone, because he or she knows it is impossible. This is not about that. It just hurts. And you have to wait until it heals.
